About Us

The Multi-Stakeholder Cooperative (KMP) Wishfood Indonesia
Sejahtera is an innovative cooperative model established as a
sustainable continuation of coastal community empowerment
programs initiated by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and Coastal Environmental and Fisheries (CEF) in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

What We Do

At the Multi-Stakeholder Cooperative Wishfood Indonesia Sejahtera, we foster cross-sector collaboration to build fair,
sustainable enterprises that positively impact coastal communities. We believe that local economies can thrive in harmony with conservation—when all parties are engaged, trusted, and empowered.

Building a Community-Based Business Ecosystem

We work alongside fishers, women-led seafood processing groups (Poklahsar), and community-based monitoring groups
(Pokmaswas) to develop interconnected business units—from production and distribution to joint promotion.

Creating Value-Added Products and Economic Independence

Through training, business mentoring, and integrated distribution systems, we empower members to produce high-quality,
value-added products and expand access to wider markets.

Supporting Conservation Through Sustainable Business

A portion of profits from our business units is allocated to support marine and coastal ecosystem conservation—protecting the
natural resources that our cooperative members rely on.

Bridging Capital and Potential

We create opportunities for investors, private sector partners, and development institutions to engage in socially responsible investments within a transparent, professional, and impact-driven business ecosystem.

Promoting Local Tourism and Products

We manage marketing for conservation village tourism destinations, facilitate access to eco-friendly fishing gear, and distribute
processed seafood products through our cooperative’s collective retail outlets.
