About Us

The Multi-Stakeholder Cooperative (KMP) Wishfood Indonesia Sejahtera is an innovative cooperative model established as a
sustainable continuation of coastal community empowerment programs initiated by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and
Coastal Environmental and Fisheries (CEF) in the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

Unlike conventional cooperatives that typically consist of a single type of membership, this cooperative integrates a diverse range
of stakeholders within a collective economic structure. The members of KMP include:

  • Fishers, who serve as the primary producers of marine resources,
  • Processing and Marketing Groups (Poklahsar), who are responsible for transforming marine products into value-added goods,
  • Community-Based Monitoring Groups (Pokmaswas), who work to safeguard natural resources and manage conservation-based tourism services,
  • And Capital Providers, including development partners and supporters of green and sustainable economic activities.

Through the synergy among these members, KMP Wishfood Indonesia Sejahtera not only strengthens the economic resilience of
coastal communities, but also acts as a driving force in developing a fair, sustainable, and conservation-based business system.

We believe that fishers cannot work alone. They need the support of processors, ocean stewards, and funders to ensure
sustainable livelihoods. That is why KMP was created—as a space for collaboration and empowerment.

Let’s Grow Together, For a Prosperous Ocean

KMP Wishfood Indonesia Sejahtera is a collaborative home. A place where fishermen, coastal women, supervisors, and partners gather to grow businesses, protect nature, and strengthen the community economy. Let’s join. Because the sea and prosperity must be protected together.
